Forgot your question about the star, I'm getting old, the star is a big glass bead with wool roving around, when it was felted and dry, I cut a little hole, and then I sew button hole stitch around the edge, hope you understand this. Anni
I learned a LOT from this exercise from Art + Quilt. And really enjoyed the process.
