I made this altered book (my second) for my sister's 70th birthday.
Hope she likes it. ~.~

Don't worry, Simon.
Thunder can't hurt us.
Or is it the raindrops falling
on your head?
My sweet boy.

I wonder where God found such exquisite orange tissue paper fabric.
One gorgeous, but shy garden bloom.

This is the front cover, back cover and one inside page of the graduation book I made for my oldest grandson. I included lots of found objects just like the "treasures" he and I spent hours collecting on our walks. Also a few tags. I was going to put a little monetary surprise in the pocket, but accidentally sewed it closed while adding ephemera~~~~. I also included 8 copies of pictures of the grad and his mom from the time he was a baby. I think the friends and family enjoyed it. I thoroughly enjoyed the making of it. My studio is still pure chaos!

Phase III of Fabric Paper Project. Can't wait to see what happens next.
The main window of a very small, old and diminishing UMC church in my town. My church. I want this picture to inspire me and others to keep it alive. Any ideas?
